Rich, make sure the bisectors (actuators) are free to "float" in their slots.
There should be a brass castle nut, split pin and washer on each stud. adjusted properly, this will let the whole brake assy.,find its own "centre" should there be any "out of round" in the drum, as it rotates. (hopefully there's none!) How are you adjusting your wheel bearings?
