Default What is this and who belongs to it?

This Chev is a bit of a mystery to us - it is Queensland registered but has appeared at various events in Victoria - this pic taken at Heyfield recently...

The tac sign says it's a C15A personnel but it's also been fitted with a winch and the body looks like it's been scratchbuilt.

So any ideas on who it belongs to?

Default Mystery

Keith ,

I saw this guy and his C15A buying petrol at the K mart in Warragul late last year . He again turned up in the C15A at the Drouin Swap meet in Feb .

Apparently he lives locally around Warragul or Drouin .

Dont know any more ........

Mike

Default Better collar him...

...next time you spot him, Mike.
Do you think a genuine 6 seater utility body was the basis for this truck?

Default Another mystery

Friend just sent me a link to a couple of Holden Chev military trucks that turned up on Stovebolt web page http://www.stovebolt.com/index.htm. Name rings a bell but I don't see him as a MLU Forum user David Wolfe is my memory slipping? http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/wolfe_dave_1943_01.htm

Cheers

From yes it is snow again or still New Hampshire

Phil

Default The gun tractor

http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/wolfe_dave_1945_01.htm

Have a look at his Gun tractor - this vehicle was at Corowa in 2002 for the Year of the Blitz rally. It's a sort of a copy of the late type version which still exist in Argentina.
