The person I bought this from (along with a NOS unused road wheel)
said they pulled it off a carrier 20 years ago that was due to be scrapped from a yard on King St. east in Toronto. Your Dad was one of the group. He thought it might have been a flame component. Thanks for the confirmation. Peter S

Now for a question. That book doesn't have a cut away view
of a flame carrier with all the components showing where the various parts go does it? Could you please scan and send it? Thanks PS
