It's come a long way since I saw it last. Looking forward to seeing it on the move.
It's about time I posted pics of progress over here in the Far East! Alex came up and helped me get the first LP2 back on the road. That's the one you saw at Wairarapa in 2003. Its got replacement wheels and suspension units fitted. It will be at ANZAC day here too. The second LP2 has had the front engine rails replaced and is getting the suspension fitted now. My daughter spent the weekend painting the hull! The engine and gearbox are ready, and the rear axle needs assembly, but I want to get all the control rods and stuff fitted before the engine goes in. I have missed by Target date of ANZAC Day, but maybe soon after.... It will stay as a farmers tracked truck conversion - swords to plough shares! Rob |
