I've got a nos Solex which is the correct one for my carrier. It ran the engine fine when we ran it in. However, I have heard they're not the best carbs in the world but as it's the correct one I'm going to give it a go. If it's crap then I'll go with something more reliable like the Stromberg, purely for ease of use. Jim likes the Stromberg! Ben
