Thanks Lew for posting this.
Dave, is my father in law. He was a very successful career soldier. He fought in Borneo, and Vietnam. He rose to the rank of Sgt. Major of the Army, and is the recipient of an MBE. He served for 30 years. Post Army, he was the Protocol Officer for the N.Z. government at World Expo 88, in Brisbane. He has written and published a couple of fiction books (based on fact) one based around the Borneo confrontation, and one on the Vietnam conflict. He has another involving members of the same family during the Taranaki (N.Z.)wars, (100 years earlier) ready for publication. Until recently, has lectured in things military at Massey University. He raced single seaters and later rally cars and was the the main organizer for the "Daybreaker rally. One of NZ's longest running and better known rallies for the Manuwatu car club. He has traveled very extensively in outback Australia. He is my favorite ![]() For Dave, ![]() BTW, Your carrier is looking great!

Hi Lynn
Your Father in Law sounds like an interesting bloke and a quiet achiever. I am sure you have spent many hours in interesting discussions. Your family must be very proud. Cheers Tony ![]()

Wonderful pics and what a treat to have someone like Dave to drive.
Had a chuckle at the "GPA" number plate.
