Indeed an Antique or Collector plate (separate categories here) cannot be used for commercial purpose.
I wouldn't be to sure about lighter if you have a wireless box like a Wire-5. My floor alone was made up of about 600 lbs. of steel. They are only skinned aluminum. |

The Truck, 15 cwt, Wireless is listed in Canada's Fighting Vehicles as having a laden weight of 10,670 pounds. That would be fully equippped with the 2 chorehorses and the radio (with lead-acid batteries). Admittedly this weight is for the steel skinned version and I can't find listings of the weights for the two styles of body or the amount saved by use of aluminum skins but Harry is right that the floor and framework remain steel. The bare 2K1 (aluminum) body remains a fair weight.
