My C15A tips the scale at 6900 lbs. empty. The GVW tag on the engine cover is 10,000.
I increased the licenced GVW to 15,000 to include the weight of the trailer and load of goodies I haul about. The more the weight the smoother the ride.
The box on the back is an all steel floor and a wood and canvas structure.
