Kevin, are you saying you have seen this T16 (m606 paz's photos) mount used in early British carriers?

here are pictures.
These are the mounts used in the front of the early carriers (real Bren Carrrier) The Bronze lower mount being the primary mount in the gunners front armour of the earlier Bren Carrier. The number varied from model to model with most variants having 3 or 4 of them. With the advent of the U.C carrier, the rubber rest with rubber strap had superceeded this mount, in the front. The bronze mount (last picture) was employed at all other gun mount points. The upper part was to all intents, obsolete, with the arrival of the U.C., but did see some limited use at times (at the alternative mounts) where the aerial mount (pogo stick was the std issue item
The other one shown is the Australian arrangement that allowed the mounting of a Bren gun into the std Vickers mount fitted in the Australian LP2/ 2a Carriers.
From the bolt and clamping nut the top is exactly the same.

Default Gunners hand grips

Does anyone have good photos/drawings for the two bolt on gunners grips brackets/mounts for a CDN MK I * carrier.
I have the rubber grips, need to fabricate the 2 mounts.
