I found a good 235 engine and did a very limited refurbish to it. It has fill flow oil and hydraulic lifters, and I raised the water pump with the adapter plate. I have been getting educated in the differences in ring gear teeth numbers and clutch plate diameters. I have the proper ring gear for the military starter and the large diameter clutch plate for a truck. I think I have the engine and tranny combo sorted. Gord
