Interesting vehicle type
It is the same type as featured in the Canadian war brochure images.
Basically an early 1941 pattern one ton 133" wheelbase van, complete with the short-lived horizontal grille trim, but keeping the 1939 / 40 type six lug disc wheels. If it was Detroit built I'd call it a WD21 with TD/VD21 wheels and hubs, but because it is Canadian it is probably something like a DD1-133
