Default I knew I could count on you Rob.....

Thanks for the bid Rob. Yeah.....it was a long wait, but I hadn't counted on a heart condition card being thrown into the deck! That wasn't part of the deal!! Took it out for a few drives locally and no "BS".......if you want to stop traffic, this is the M'F'er that'll do it! Hope it goes to a good home. Robert

Default Well Rob....

Don't want to jinx the situation, especially on the restoration time!! Don't get me started! Ask Robbie Love.... There's a an old saying that "if you don't have your health....you don't have anything". As mentioned earlier, I've developed a serious heart condition, a "joker in the deck". I've made the decision to liquidate the hobby and downsize because it's just not possible with your heart operating at 30% capacity. It is with heavy heart (well that's a bad F'n pun) that it's all going on the block, but it is what it is. And if I can say quite seriously....the sudden, shocking, sad and untimely passing of Bob Moseley.... made me think very seriously about my decision. That's how quick life is! The next will be the C60L and the trailer and the rest of the bric a brac.....so stay tuned. I will keep you posted on the HUP after it closes on Ebay, but as of tonight....it's bags are packed and it's leaving the Canada. Cheers....Robert

Sorry to hear that Rob, but she is a beauty, hopefully all of them will be cared for like you have done...

Quote:
1943 Chevrolet HUP ZL Wireless Prototype

The last of the last is up for sale.
This is #68 of less than 100 prototypes manufactured as Wireless Repair Trucks. All the data plates come with it as proof. This unit has gone through a ground up restoration over the last 7 years and is currently about 90% complete. There are a few remaining things to finish on it, however it is finished enough to be licensed and driven on the roadway. All the hard work has been completed, it just needs be cosmetically finished. I have the remaining parts for completion as well as the extremely rare Chrysler Manual for outfitting the back end of the truck. Also comes with a maintenance and parts manual. Truck has brand new 10:50 X 16 Chevron Tires and tubes.I have tons of photos or info if needed.

As is Robert's C60L:
Quote:
1944 Chevrolet Cab 13 C60L
A beautiful CMP and one of less than 6 on the road today in Canada. This was the most manufactured model of all the CMP's during WW11.

This unit has approximately 16,000 original miles on it and is completely rust free. It comes with a war time 235cu. inch engine plus a 20,000 lb winch connected to the drive train. The brake system has been completely overhauled professionally including new bearings and seals in the axles. The carburetor has been professionally rebuilt along with a new ignition system and exhaust system. The truck was repainted last year in the early Canadian olive drab color.

Included with the truck are 6 pow tins with war time pad locks, NOS canvas radiator cover, NOS canvas window curtain bag, window curtains (need to be restored), shovel and pick axe, 50 foot tow rope and maintenance manual. I have the canvas for the back, but it's pretty well shot. A new one can be negotiated.

You can see the truck on You tube under "Vancouver Canada Day Parade On Shaw TV" part 1 about 5 minutes into the video

Price and terms: Asking price is $13,000.00 or best reasonable offer. Terms can apply to the right buyer upon discussion. Unit can be shipped anywhere in the world. If you require more photos of info, please contact me.
