Ben has been kind enough to supply me with a comparison photo between UC front/rear outer against a couple of the inner types.
The Loyd TT parts book states:

Outer - TL332
Inner - TL1386

Alastair,

TL332 is the same as the Outer spring on Front bogie of a Universal carrier. The other number does not match up though. Hope this is of help.
