Now they have to be fully welded, ground and then the lids. This is the same way they would have been done all those years ago. All made from 16G or 1.6mm material as per the original.

Beautiful piece of work there friend. Excellent thread, beautiful workmanship BUT....not enought tools and clutter lying around the workshop so you obviously doing something wrong!!!!!!

Thanks Paul but as I'm the only one in my workshop I can't blame anyone else if there's crap everywhere so I've gotta clean it up myself.
