Tony,

Certainly, the German Armed Forces relied heavily on captured vehicles, Jeeps being among them. Here's an example: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?p=54868

Luckily they did not dress up your jeep with swastikas nor nazi symbols. But IIRC those German crosses (still in use today!) were only used on armoured vehicles.

Hi Hanno

Thanks for the very interesting site, this confirms captured Jeeps were used by Axix forces. That should make the Re-enactment guys happy as to the authenticity on the day.
