the gauege will be thoroughly contaminated mate, the three small segments and needle tip are the bits that were luminised, you might be able to find somewhere to fit a dial face for you the problem is the dust being spread about... where is the gauge now ? if its in a box along with oher stuff i guarantee you everything in the box with the gauge will also be contaminated too..

in my humble opinion in your case i would at very least wear rubber gloves paper suit and respirator to handle the gauge with a broken glass face (not dismantle it) but the rubber only stops you getting particles on your hands and nothing more

the dial face could be done by someone i am sure but they would need a propper purpose built cabinet to put the dial into which was sealed and behind glass etc etc the dial face itself comes out with two screws the needle slides off..... thats easy.....just not easy to do without getting a dose or contaminating your workshop etc etc.
