Guys,
A good freind of mine sent me these pictures of unrestored Ford and Chevrolets trucks in Norway, after his recent visit there. What strikes me is the amazing condition of them, considering they are living outside. The Chev water bowser is really nice. It would be nice to see someone from Norway save them
Enjoy

Default Norway

A noninternet-involved collector here in Canada has a very complete CMP wrecker truck that came out of Norway. The story goes that the ferry ship changed destinations and arrived in the US rather than Canada. So the driver/escort needed "cash" to make his way home. The owner sent him the money and he drove the truck a thousand miles versus a few dozen miles.

I think this photo on HMVF is not very recent, but it's a nice C60L sitting in a scrap yard....

Lovely project!
Unfortunatelly this vehicle will not be saved any more. The back body was used as a donor to another C60 project. The rest was disassembled and stored, however the frame alongside with axles were stolen from a private property by junk metall collectors and probably ended up in a crapyard for some lousy beer cash What a pitty, but at least the cab and other small parts can be used to keep other projects alive.

Ah yes, I now see it's the one Erik had for sale. Possibly the picture above was taken at his place?

Definately a pity, but good to hear that at least some parts of the truck will be used again.
