Yes I tried them first. Then I checked a bunch of old Ford Truck sites to see if I could find any parts. I managed to find a few bits but not much. Thanks, Doug |

I believe that the armature on the UC is longer due to the dual pulley setup, correct?
You may have to get the armature rewound. I can ask a friend of mine who does auto electric rebuilds where he gets them from.

Yes, my friend has worked at an automotive rebuild shop for over 25 years.
He has since gone out on his own as he especially enjoys the challenge of custom and antique items. He has done lots of work for me over the years on all kinds of mv electrical equipment. He is quite adept at all 6 volt vintage items.
