More unanswered questions
I have noticed on some late LP2A air scoops they have two large holes either side of the engine cover. Any clues?

These holes are not for the 3" mortar or any associated parts. This position is taken up by the rails used for the additional stowage of ammunition in the rear.
I always thought they were for radio cables??? Happy to be educated...
