The knobs are square edged
The bronze part is longer between the screw hole centers.
The screw countersink is a different angle.
The spindle is a bigger dia.at the index (business)end

...and the arm is different, and so is the window frame.

Things you can interchange;
Bogie axles and bearings
return roller axles and bearings.
steering box worm and sector shaft
Fibre cups.
Suspension rods (with nuts)

Not much else.

Roy , you have done a nice job. Well done!

Ahhh, Red, if anyone was to know it would be you.

And yes the suspension rods are interchangeable, but the threads on the ends are different. So to be 100% authentic, you shouldn't be using English rods in an LP Carrier and vice versa. *shakes finger sarcasticly whilst staring at pile of NOS English suspension rods cleaned up to go into LP suspension*

As they were available in your area, why wouldn't you?
....and when your carrier is up and going, will you care?

I see your covers went quickly.

As far as I can tell, they are exactly the same.
