This is the bosses jeep (my future wife) so I was thinking a little artistic license may apply but it would be great if appropriate and accurate.....

The typical Jeep recce militia regiment would have been organized with one operational squadron and one training squadron. Assuming one geographic area. The Royal Canadian Hussars for example had a squadron in St Hubert and another on Montreal Island, but I believe they were larger than most units.

So 1 Squadron OC, 1 Ops O or Battle Captain, 2 (or 3) Troop Leaders, assorted troop call signs and echelon. The org chart would have allowed for a CO, RSM, RSS staff, maybe an attached medic, etc. But, the reality of most units was neither enough qualified and available pers for each position, not enough roadworthy vehicles, and no real job for the HQ on a squadron exercise.

I forget the exact breakdown of all the callsigns, but the OC would have been Niner, the step up CP Niner Bravo, and the troops as Four One, Four Two, Four Three.
