|  Chev C8 Truck 
			
			Hi  My first time on MLU  I have a C8 Truck and I dont Know much about it. It was used locally after the war as a service truck for a sawmill . Its all there I think but it needs tires . Does anyone know where to get them .I dont want to start restoring it , untill I know I can get the sand tires. Help

Quite a few 8 cwt owners just use anything that works ........Ive seen a C8 with standard Chevy car rims on it , the split rim army adapters are removed and normal 6x16 tyres are fitted MIKE

			Welcome Kelly to the forum! Would love to see photos of your truck.  I got my tires from Trelleborg. There are a few dealers in North America who are distributors. I believe there are still eight of these tires in a warehouse in Georgia, USA, if someone hasn't bought them..... might be worth checking into.
