BC-348 Help

Hi guys,

I picked up a BC-348 receiver a while ago. I'm looking for someone qualified in the Ottawa area to give it a once over and convert it to run on 110vac. This was a common post war surplus mod with the HAM crowd. Want to use as a shortwave set. I have the mod plans, but also have a healthy respect for high voltages. Any help appreciated.

I've talked to Stuart, but he says he already has a pretty significant backlog of projects.

Saw those U-tube videos, just makes me want to get mine working all the more.
