Default EDR Infor

Good morning,

Here is the EDR info for you:

CFR 1968 07809
Ser No 7105-96856
ECC 121201 Truck Utility 1/4 Ton M38A1 Cdn 2
Acquired Date 01 Jan 1967
Original UIC 0122 CFB Chilliwack (Domant)
Initial VMO Lommis
Disposed of for $2214.00
Disposal Date 26 May 1987

The Holding Unit Registry doesn't list any units which would lead me to believe that it was most likely a Base Tn veh.

The Work Order History only lists three entries:
Work Order Number/Date Completed/CIN/HUIC/Usage
LF0055/10 Jan 1980/716/0122/45,372
LO5106/7 Oct 1978/716/2208/0
LO5092/21 May 1978/716/2208/0
I looked at the individual work orders and all work was completed by CFB Chilliwack.

The Modification History lists the following:
Modification Number/Modification
30010000CF003/No Information Available on this Modification
30100000CF0014/No Information Available on this Modification
30103000CF004/No Information Available on this Modification

That is all there is on this vehicle.
Cheers.

Steve

C30-010-000-CF003 is the modification of the distributor cap cover to accept the autosense diagnostic machine.
30100000CF0014 is the modification to the alternator bracket.

Unfortunately I do not have the C30-103 series of CFTOs, but the 103 number refers strictly to the Cdn3, so it will be something unique to that pattern of the M38A1.

Thanks Rob, I assume that CDN3 mods would also be applied to CDN2's?

Shouldn't, it would more likely be something that is particular to the Cdn3. But without seeing the modification instruction I can't say.

Surely I am not the only guy in Canada that grabbed a set of these on disposal.

Default C-30-103-000/cf 004

Good evening, according to the instructions this modification was for the "radiator damage by bellcrank" and applied to the CDN 2 only. It says, "when completed it will provide additional clearance between the radiator and steering bellcrank assembly." hope this helps. Cheers. Steve
