It is from the 5/4 ton gas. If it were from a CUCV diesel the ECC plate would be on the lower left rear outer wall.

LSVW went to a hot water heater rather than the hunter 15,000 BTU mounted up top. LSVW would also have the ladder permanently attached to the back. I believe the LSVW also got rid of that monstrosity of a battery charger and went to something a little more compact.

If it was CUCV it would have more squarish corners, and the right fuel opening would be capped.

The bolt attachment for most trucks of that era is to an SAE standard, so the box could likely be fit onto any 70s and 80s truck with very little effort. I am using a CUCV van body on my 76 chev 5/4 ton, and it was a drop on.
