Hi Colin..
Out of curiosity, are you a machinist or a tool and die maker..??You certainly do good work and the only guy that I have met with skills like yours ,an absolute wizzard with metal or anything technical at all..gunsmith..watch maker..welder..machinist..and an MLU member and good friend ,Greg Anderson... Had 200 Acres to play with all his toys..that he rebuilt..painted and restored..by himself..Jeeps..a couple ..old cars..old trucks.. Full machine shop and 6 bay storage garage..loved the tools.. His restorations looked like they just rolled out of the factory.. And what did Greg do for a living...???? Lawyer....amazing...!!!! ![]() ![]()

Alex, no I'm none of the above. The only actual trade I have is a butcher which I did for over 10 years but did structual steel for quite a while as well but this is just self taught stuff.
Also I must say sorry to the Bedford Boys for the youtube comments. Is there no way that you can't get it deleted from there. Colin. |

That's because there's a mistake in the link. If you really want to see it you have to remove the first part of the address. It's some still images put to music.

Oh and I'll let you guy's work out what it will be. I can't say what type of buisiness my client has as that's his private concern. Dave, any one is welcome at my place anytime and you don't have to bring any tools. I've got enough for any visitors and plenty of room.

The last couple of pics in the previous is the original hydraulic pump but I found it was knackered, so I decided to pull it apart and get the centre shaft out and modify it to take a standard piston pump. I needed to use the original shaft because of the spline.

All fitted very well and I just need a couple of hydraulic fittings that I don't have, and It's a go'er.

Hi Easo, very simple. The spool valve directs the flow to the hydraulic motor and depending which way you push the control lever it will go in forward or reverse. I will be making it into a rocker foot control, much like a ride on mower.
