Oh blimey! Thanks Shaun. I can see the holes behind the drivers seat back now.
I've search my parts lists over the years to identify this part. But even though I now know where it belongs, I still haven't clearly found it in the lists. Not that I need to, other than just prove a point to myself. Cheers Ron
