There are only six people in Australia that know less about dozers than I do. But! The crawler in photo 7 is a Cletrac 7 ton high speed airfield tractor as built for the USAAF. These are quite a unique vehicle with rubber tracks and a number of accessories such as a compressor to supply high and low pressure pneumatics, an auxiliary generator to power the aircraft and/or run hand tools and a 10,000LB Garwood pto winch. They were powered by a Hercules WXLC3 404 Cu Inch engine and were capable of around 22 MPH.

This one is an RCAF tractor. I believe circa 1947.
