Wanted: White Scout Car Rear Diff.

After 100,00km over 20 years my White Scout Car rear diff has given up the ghost.

Needed one good rear diff. A crown wheel pinion and carrier will do as the rest is ok.

Aren't they similar/same as Ford MCP/Civvy truck 5.83 diffs? Cannabalise the Dingo.

Gee Tony, you might be right. I'll check that one out. I have a couple of spare Dingo diffs. You never know your luck.

Nope, no luck. The only reference book I have on the Dingo says that the Final Drive Ratio is 6.66 to 1. where as the Scout car is 5.14 to 1.

IIRC several Aussies fitted an M3A1 Scout Car differential to their F15 4x2 truck to give it a higher top speed?
