You can't look at these without being proud of their butt uglyness.
However over the years I have seen trucks show up at bush fires that make your eyes water and say WTF, right before they pump an astonishing amount of water and disappear into the back blocks where mountain goats have problem walking. Whatever works best stays around for a long time.
