Default nice morris C8 wireless

very nice morris you have sparky.
looks very complete to me. Do you have the 14 aerial poles that go in the outside bracket ?
Do you know a name or number of these poles ? I am looking foreward to the pictures of the inside of the body.
I know one other morris C8 with a similar body, but I think it is a light warning body or a No 1 MK 2, here in holland. it stay's in venlo (south part of holland).
it doesn't have the small front window and doesn't have the generator hatch on the righthand side only one on the back ? It has the table and the aerial brackets on the sides. I think it is a mix of the warning and radio body's. (there is a picture of it on the softskin forum, morris-commercial wireless info needed.
hope to hear and see more of your truck thanks.
cheers jaap

Default

Now the wood work is in I could put the charging panel on it's place.
As you can see I am missing the switches so if anyone has some I like to know.
the panel go's under the radiotable so the operator can selekt the right possition with the switches.
I had to do the last side panel door for the generator box. So I cut the hole in the righthand side and hammerd the edges in to there form.
then I made the wooddoor witch is to be coverd with sheet metal same as the other one I made for the back.
but that next time.
cheers jaap

Default generator door....

here some more pictures of the offside generator door.
I want to use the generator space for storing tools and so.
So I made the door to have hinges and a lock. first thing I did was to test fit
the woodendoor to make sure the hinges are in the right place.
then I made the sheet metal for one side and bended the edges around the wood. now the second sheet was putt on and the hinges to.
On the outside I putt in the sheets with the louvers and made the edges smooth ready for painting. the two locks were putt in place.
so now it neads paint and screwed in to place and the outside is as good as ready, only the ladder neads to be made.
cheers for now

Default pianted white...

i like the music of the rolling stone very much, but to paint the radiobody black seams a bit to far so I stayed with cream white.
now the gennydoor was dying I started to paint the inside white it took a 1 1/2 ltr of paint. I did the blackout panels for the side windows to and put them in place whits took some swet to get them in place and work.
I made all the bolting points on the chargeing panel and screwed it on the wall, only the switches are missing.
I screwed the variometer on the roof next to the small window and put the antenna outlet glass in place with the blackout box to.
cheers jaap
