Hi Robin,

I would suspect that it was with "C" squadron of the Straths. The following vehicles are imaged on Colin's site and all served with the Straths. It is also of note that they are painted in the same stone grey colour as yours and bear similar style bridge clsn signs. I am no expert on the stone cam pattern but I usually see it in images of vehicles from the West.

82591 "Coyote"
82592 "Capri" C/S 35
82566 "C*******" (image is super fuzzy)
82510 unknown name but marked C/S 33B

Also look at the period image on Colin's site under 82598. This shows a LdSH Ferret with the late style vision ports in the stone cam similar to yours. The vehicle in the image isn't 598 as the vision ports on the current day images are the earlier rectangular style, but it does show a vehicle similar to yours with the Straths.

Hope this helps,

J
