Hi Jon;

My guess is, is that the picture was taken in Petawawa and is of 1st S.S.M. Battery, R.C.A., training with their newly issued eqpt prior to deployment to Germany in December, 1961. In Jan 1962, they were issued their full establishment of 4x Honest John missiles. 2nd S.S.M. Battery, R.C.A. was stationed at Shilo, with a training role of providing reinforcements and replacements for the 1st Battery.

Cheers
