It's not an unusual position of the brush guard but a late one. Here are some details:

Bracket-towing clevis
Part no. C39Q-7869
Clevis - towing
Part no. C111Q-7870

Dirk,

Could that F60L be one of a batch of F60L's which were assembled by NV Nederlandsche Ford Automobiel Fabriek in Amsterdam early after WW2? Reportedly these were late production crated vehicles.

Interesting find! I guess the truck spent a fair amount of it's life in Belgium after demob from the Dutch Air force. I seems to show the typical Belgian headlight relocation...closed up normal position of the headlights and the holes in the bumper for replacement headlights (?)

Default Dutch CMP line-up

On April 10th there was a remembrance-rally at Wilp for Operation Cannonshot.
Special feature were CMP and British vehicles. At one moment a line-up was formed with the vehicles. Note: not all CMP's were at this line-up.

Enjoy this line-up!
