I have also recieved this photo, from the markings I believe he was deployed with:

C Troop
25th L.A.A (Light Anti-Aircraft) Battery
Royal Canadian Artillery

I believe the gun pictured is the same as in my two original photos.

My research tells me the 25th LAA Bty was a home defence unit, part of the 6th Cdn Infanry Div. Now part of the Div was sent to Kiska (not the 25th), but other than that am I correct to assume that he would have not seen overseas action, unless he left the 25th?
