At the Nanton, Alberta museum, a tall old dude was climbing into the Lanc and banged his head on the top of the door. Smiling as he rubbed the sore spot, he said, "I flew these things for two years, and banged my noggin every time I climbed aboard. It hurts more without hair!"
BTW, Hi George from the Pope boys!
We have welded lots of propane tanks to make air tanks out of them. Fill 'em with water, takes all the "pop" out of 'em!

Hi Dave I'll give it a try .The only thing that I thought was that sometimes the gass gets in the metal and makes a little pop . I sandblasted the tractor and put sealer on ,ready now for the paint (A light blue ) that's what was on it . I had a big display at the Leigion on the 11 and another friend of mine gave a presentation about his grand father when he flew the Lancaster during the war and eventualy getting shot down over Holland
