Hi Keith,

The style of packaging for Bedford linings is unfamiliar, also brake linings for most of the models I am familiar with, have different thickness for leading and trailing, and this is true for all Bedfords in military and civvy use during WW2, ie K, M and O (civvy), and MSC, ML, MW, OX, OY and QL. Not RL either.

Back to the package style, I wonder if it is prewar?

Default Packaging style

Interesting thought.

I did think the packaging was rather stylish, rather then utilitarian military.

It could well be pre-war, but judging by some of the other material there most of it seems to be either wartime or post-war.
