Ian, great to hear you're going to be here again! Do you know if the Victorians are coming? I will certainly be there, hopefully bringing down a Weasel to travel through to John's place.
I don't think Jeff will ever live down the wheelie bin incident

Steve.

Default Flooding rain!!!!

Ah just tell the whole world, Ian Pooh Bear Fawbert about my wheelie bin!

For those not in S.E Qld and haven't seen the news we have just had record breaking flooding rain and more predicted for the weekend.
Tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) 4pm we have a meeting on site with the Canungra grounds committee to have a look at the site and make a decision.
I will post the outcome as soon as I can tomorrow night.
Watch this space!
Cheers
Jeff

Sadly we had to call it off

Hi Everyone

Unfortunately due to the extreme weather experienced at the Gold Coast area the Canungra Show Society have asked us not to come this weekend.

They fear that vehicles will become bogged due to the extremely wet ground! The committee has seen the grounds and agree.

There will be a free sausage sizzle at the Club House Rocklea Showgrounds from 3pm on Saturday 16th October.

The Club run to the Vintage Motor Bike Museum at Black Soil (just west of Ipswich on the highway) will start from the Club House Rocklea Showgrounds meeting at 8am to leave 9am Sunday 17th October.

The Swap Meet & Field weekend will be held at Emu Gully Helidon on 3rd 4th 5th December 2010. Further details later.

Don Smith for the Management Committee.
