This is what you are looking for. Lucas and CAV are the same shells with a different badge. This is the standard glass. They are easy to spot at swapmeets, by the flats on the sides.

Thanks Lynn,
I don't ever remember glass lenses like that here in Manitoba at any of the flea markets or junk shops but at least now I know what I am looking for.Maybe Richard can help me out when he can check in his attic or I will contact the lead that Paul has listed.I am in no rush for one but would like to complete it at some point.I will still have to find another headlight before I put them on my carrier. carrier headlights
Hi, Can anyone confirm please if the canadian built Mk1 carrier, 1943 mortar carrier would of been fitted with the Lucas/CAV style headlights?, Whenever I look at a carrier I first look at the headlights to see if it is British or Canadian built as a first spot. But correct me if I am wrong the Canadian illustrated parts manual FUC-03 has both lights featured, The standard type with the flat backs and the CAV/Lucas type, could I put the CAV type on a Canadian carrier?. If correct then I have been looking at alot of carrier pics thinking they were British but really Canadian?.
