To quote C. Heston from an old ape movie "Dam you....Dam you..." for being so mysterious and cryptic.
It's a road trip, aint' it? Where, when and for what purpose? |

Yes Bruce....to take a quote from "Animal House" ROAD-TRIP!!!!
I am looking for Volunteers...or Voluntolds. I would like to identify Area Reps from the following areas: Cornwall/Brockville: Kingston/Trenton: Oshawa/Barrie /Toronto: Niagara/Hamiliton/Brantford Waterloo/Guelph London/Sarnia Reason: To do preliminary contacting of MVers who may wish to participate in a road-trip next summer starting in Ottawa and ending in Windsor arrival to coincide with the MilitaryMuster 13-15 August 2010. There is already interest in such an event and it would provide security and comradship for those who wish to travel to the muster. There are already several from the Ottawa area coming down to participate. This could be an excellent event to showcase our hardware to various communities enroute. Feed Back on this venture is most appreciated. PM me if you wish. cheers Mike in Windsor |

Road trip 2010
Attention everyone be aware of Mikes with cryptic messages. I'm in on this road trip. I will help with the recovery and heavy lift trucks. I am not a small truck collector and would love to put my M35 and M109 to work for a noble cause. If all goes well I hope to have a wrecker by spring and it will definitely will want to go on a road trip. I will also bring my MKT (Mobile Kitchen Trailer) gotta eat.
I will be the EME rep for the Ottawa region, be warned I am not a mechanic, in the military I was a Weapons Tecnician but I am really handy. We will represent the post war era, medium to heavy trucks. This will be an absolutly excellent way to show our trucks and who we are and what we do . Mike will need help to organize, stand up and be counted. Don't forget we have been infected with the MV disease. P.S. Starting point in Ottawa CWM Canadian War Museum Gilles Arte et Marte (EME) |
