All the NOS ones I picked up are now gone.
The store still has 9 used "FRONTS" for the same price. They show wear, no holes, & some have names written on the backs. If anyone is near Kamloops or Williams Lake, check out Surplus Herbys to see if they have any at there stores.. item number is 28704 01161 I did find one today that is a little different. It has a rounded bottom No markings on the inside On the top strap yolk it has a circle with what looks to be the top half of a 5 point star & under it it looks like nl 507 Under that is a large "F" (front?) & DOM. The half star stamp is the post war acceptance stamp that Canada was using to replace the C broadarrow.The half round bottom is interesting but will be hard to find a matching rear one.I just returned from Princess auto and there are half a dozen rear pouches still here.Happy collecting,Derk. ![]()
