Ok, so Princess Auto has a bunch of "REARS"

I remembered seeing some at a local store so I went back today & they have about 20 "FRONTS"

I can buy them for $3.00 each plus PST & GST.
A bubble wrap shipping bag is about $5.00 plus taxes.
Shipping would be extra.

If anyone is needing "FRONT" pouches, I can get them.
I am not trying to make anything , just don't want it costing me anything.

On a side note, my dad used to buy parts for my grandfathers 1943 GPW at the local Princess Auto store.

Not to sound cheap, but personally I don't like to pay for shipping materials unless I have no choice. An old shoe box or something similar is free, plus you would be recycling which is supposed to be good for our future... just a point

I am not trying to make a buck, but it does cost me to drive to the store, package & ship, drive to post office to mail.

Go on E-Bay & pay $75.00 USD + postage for a "FRONT"
I'm afraid you have taken my post in the wrong way. It was a friendly point... a suggestion if you will. There are probably lots of people who would be happy to pay for the bubble wrap envelope since the pouches are so inexpensive. My point is simply that most of us have materials at home or at work that we can use without having to resort to paying for the costly alternatives at the store. Apparently you're not a fan of recycling.

Frankly I think your response is totally uncalled for since I don't believe that I said anything offensive and wasn't suggesting that you were doing anything unethical. And besides, what's wrong with selling the pouches for a profit in order to compensate for your time and gas? Nothing. You're the one who is trying desperately to make the point that you are not doing this for profit. I don't think anyone cares if you make a profit. Wow, I have to wonder why some people fly off the handle so easily.... "Me thinks the man doth protest too much".

Thanks for the offer, but like I mentioned earlier in the thread I have more of these pouches than I need already, but I'm sure there are some people who will be very interested in your offer (Which is honestly very fair).

Have a good day.

Exclamation

Guys,

Lets keep this friendly. Some are trying to help other collectors by showing their wilingness to acquire militaria. Others are giving advice on how to recycle materials for packaging. All very well meant, so let's not start a flame war over this. Take a deep breath in & out and count till ten instead of pounding the keyboard.

Thanks for your attention and cooperation in this matter.
