Kevin, i am not sure would be my answer, my carrier is a Mk1 1942 (canadaian) so i dont know if they were fitted with them or not ? anyone able to advise here ? Nigel ?

Your carrier, with a hull number of 10131, would not have had the horn. The giveaway is that there would have been a large 1" hole on the upper glacis plate near the driver for the conduit, and there would have been a smaller hole on the angle iron for the horn mounting. I don't have access to the manuals out here, but there was a cut off given for the horn. If I recall it was somewhere in the 3000 to 5000 range. I think they only capped the horn button hole for a while as well.
