The crest itself, is that of the LAND ORDNANCE ENGINEERING BRANCH or LORE, which RCEME became post-unification of the Forces. The background colours look to be those of the LORE Branch (ex-RCEME). The 22 could represent a Workshop? Number.
The TRG O - stands for Training Officer. On another thread you asked about the rear bumper markings - the red rectangle w/Maple Leaf is that of the 1st Cdn Div (NATO).

Just a note, there was a 22 Tech Sqn, RCEME in Three Rivers, P.Q. - mid 50's to mid 60's, but it was a Reserve Army unit.
