HAHAHA i could not believe how much it picked up !! imagine during wartime through Arnhem or france ! the running gear would become blocks of solidified mud and bush in no time at all methinks hehehehe. still pondering on my colour scheme, needs to Be Italy campaign or Scicily, or North Africa...... i saw a cool scheme which was sand base with terracotta pattern however the terracotta was outlined by a thin white and black border..... looked realy cool, not sure where it would have been used though.

Looks great and I love the sound these things make. Is it just me or does it seem to sit nose down a tad bit?

she does a wee bit but there is bot all in the back only one tank which was half filled, no back plate or tool plate or engine covers etc etc and two lads sat right forward in the front would imagine this may make her tilt a touch, i think i managed to bottom her out on the nose after a hard braking manouver (balls up) so i hope i have not damaged her !

Hi my carrier is a bit high at her rear end think its just just becouse its still bedding in the rear springs, when i replaced the springs i matched them up and found 4 pairs that were longer than the others by 1 coil so i put them on the rear as thort the enging and axle would pull her down lower? think like richard says when ive got all the engine bay filled and the tanks in and bits on the rear and a few brave soles in the rear that should take care of it, Also its not armoured plate.
Richard you owe me a scratch on yours when its all painted hahahaha I watched a top 10 military vehicle thing on youtube and the carrier was number 7 you should see some of there driving what you did with mines nothing mate . Last edited by martyn; 30-11-09 at 21:24. |
