From what I can see .... you have an official snorkel modification to a Ford engine cover and roof.

These modifications came late in the war and very few survived.... you truck may have been used for training troups or testing in Canada..... I do not recall ever reading that they had been used in actual battle conditions.

Now if you can find the original snorkel tube and the full installation kit you would be a rich man.
