Hi George,
If the lights were for my Mk 1 carrier then they worked out great. My carrier turned out well with most of the equipment now there with a few pieces left to find but then there never really complete are they? My energy is now on this Ford C.M.P. that I brought home for my Ambulance body. I was very lucky to find such a complete C.M.P. that still runs. The door has Markings; RCASCTC (Royal Canadian army service corp training centre?)and I believe 64-?. There was a flat bed on the truck with an army Data plate 1964 which I dropped off in Rob Love's yard(thank's Rob). I will borrow a camera and take some pictures and post them in the future. Hi Hanno, The picture of the ambulance you show looks like a 3 ton but mine has the spare tire carrier between the cab and box .Nice picture. The Ford 30 cwt ambulance did not have a spare tire carrier as it was a 134'' wheel base. Thanks for the help! Derk. |

Hi Dirk,
As far as the registration you can use the engine number from your Ford. Ford Motor Co. used the engine number for registrations for many years. Paul |

Without being in the same location as the manuals to check it, I'm a little surprised to see the 197 spare parts list listed on a vehicle made in 1943.
The maintenance manual MB-B is a new one to me, has anyone got information on it? Another way of describing one of the MB-C1 or MB-C2? Codespeak for the earlier combined operator's and maintainer's book? |

The data plates were on a gun tractor I bought years ago and I am the one that took them off the vehicle before stripping it of all it's useful parts and scrapping the rest. Derk.
