Default Obits and Casualty Lists

Thanks Phil for the posting. It is truely sad to see all the obits of a fading generation. As a young collector (age 13) I was constantly reading to obits and when a vet was found I read it to my parents. Back them most of them were ww1 vets. I still read every obit and I still remember my mom saying that my reading of them reminded her of reading the casualty lists during the war. I still look at them as casualty lists since then....

Lest we forget...
