airshow and Essex show
No problem Jon....maybe this weekend...gonna be a good turnout...and great wx.
As mentioned in an earlier thread this weekend is building up to be quite an event! I have heard from the www.CTMHV.com that there are already vehicles arriving for the weekend event. Some very rare armour and softskin vehicles. So far: White Halftrack, GMC Fox, Ford MK1 Carrier, Dodge WC, M37 3/4, Ford GPW are already there with more arriving between now and Sunday. There will be participants camping out overnight Saturday and there is lots of room for more. A fantastic facility which caters to all needs. There will be Vets bussed out to the site and a vintage aircraft fly-by and a whole lot of civilian pattern vintage tin. They (the museum) have scouted out a trail which can be used for those who wish to take their rig for a ride through the forest. From its meagre beginnings a few weeks ago this event has taken on a life of its own. There will be vendors selling military items and more are welcome so if you have some gear to unload don't be afraid to bring it. This one day event 6 September is just the starting point for a much larger full blown weekend event which is in the planning stages for next year.
