I wonder what became of the nationalist Chinese captain based in Detroit... During the war the Nationalists and Mao's communists had a sort of truce going ..in order to beat the Japs ... but all sorts of treacherous behaviour went on and they were more or less fighting each other more than the Japs I think.

There may be a few of those trucks in Burma today. One made it to Tasmania of all places , working with the Peters Ice cream company .

This could be the Burma Dodge that was seen by us on a club trip in Shepparton years ago. Nagambie is close by.
